On becoming my own best coach
Self-mastery is the reason why I wake up every day and go to bed with a deep sense of fulfilment. Learning how to show up for myself and become my own best coach is the greatest gift that I can give to myself and the world. This is why I spent one year of training as a transformational coach.
The story of why I started
Before my sixteenth birthday, I sent myself to boarding school and left behind my family and friends for a foreign country half the world away. I thought I was seeking freedom and independence but the truth was that I was lost and in search of myself. At sweet-sixteen, I didnโt know any better so I stumbled through life mostly on my own. I didnโt know how to be my own parent.
For three decades, I was lost but found in the great ocean. Somedays I floated through life like stardust and other days I drifted deep into the sea. I didnโt know how to navigate as the captain of my own ship with each tidal wave pulling me further away from my anchor. Every few years a freak wave would hit and I eventually fell into depression. A series of cathartic events compelled me to seek the clarity I needed to bring back the fearlessly loving and happy girl I once knew.
I share my journey towards healing, self-rediscovery and personal mastery in hopes of inspiring and uplifting others especially in times of complexity and uncertainty. Life gifts us with challenges that can become opportunities for us to grow closer to ourselves (and others). When you act on the courage to look inward, what you gain are the clarity and strength to live boldly.
Lovingly,
